  Personal Application

Reflect & Apply

The Creation Account is more than history — it reveals who God is, who we are, and how we were designed to live. These steps will help you draw personal meaning from what you've studied.

1

Meditate on Your Origin

You were created by God, in His image, for a purpose. You did not arise by chance. Take a few minutes to reflect on what it means that your character, your mind, and your capacity to love all bear the imprint of your Creator. How does knowing your origin change the way you see yourself?

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him." — Genesis 1:27

2

Honor the Sabbath

The Sabbath was given before sin — it is not a burden but a blessing, a gift of sacred rest and communion with God. This week, set aside the seventh day as God intended: lay aside your usual work, rest, worship, and spend time in nature or in Scripture, reflecting on God as your Creator and Sovereign.

3

Examine Your Character Against God's Design

Before sin, Adam and Eve bore God's image in character — in purity, love, harmony with God's will, and self-control. Prayerfully ask: In which areas of my character am I most unlike God's original design? Write these down and bring them to God in pointed, honest prayer this week.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." — Psalm 51:10
